I think this post is in the wrong section, thinking about it now. Just a short question regarding the permanent unlocking of an AT&T iphone, purchased here in the UAE. I've read that it can officially be "factory unlocked".
Seeming that I bought it more than 2-years back, and it's still working as a jailbroken and unlocked phone... Can it be unlocked permanently.

Vodafone in Australia is providing this service for their customers once the contract has lapsed, and so are people in the UK. I do not seem to get much info on the net regarding AT&T, except that they do not do it for people wanting to go to their competition?

Do I contact AT&T, Apple, anybody...
