Hi, good to know that i am not alone in cold waters. Just a quick one. Do Fedex or UPS have any service like "Shop n Ship" similar to Aramex?

Thanks

Yea...even the one (3G iPhone) that was due to arrive last week is still not arrived. I keep bothering them with my phone calls, and i get the same reply "Offloaded due to Flight cancellation". I just hope i get that one and they find my misplaced one or compensation for the same.

Its not just you. They had flight cancellations at JFK, My brake calipers, rotors, and coilover suspension is also backed up. So it isnt just you.

Jerry at S&S Abu Dhabi assured me that it's an across the board problem that they arent responsible for.

You guys are just really impatient.

I had Aramex ship a car computer to Reyadh instead of Abu Dhabi once. that is the only issue Ive ever had with them, and they rectified it in 4 days.

I've shipped car engines, rims, tires, brakes, my iMac, watches, books, comics... you name it with minimal issues. Everything from a rare CD that cost 32 AED in shipping to a crate costing 7000 in shipping.

Amazing company.

Please please please give us a review of the iPhone 3G when it gets here. I'm dying to know more about it 1st hand... or bring it to a gathering! lol.

Guys I have used U shop we ship with no problems. A friend turned me on to them after the nightmares he was having with Aramex. They seem to be a decent outfit so far, I ordered a Magic Jack from the US for my mac and it came with no problems, around 5 days turn around time. Might want to give them a try, they charged me 25 bucks to setup the mailbox and 13 dollars for the shipment. dont know if thats to much as I havent used ARAMEX.

Just curious, how much are the duties in the UAE for electronics. Like if ordered a Mac from Amazon, how much should I expect to pay when it arrives?
