Time zone question / query !

Greetings all,

My phone appears to now have a mind of it's own as since returning from a vacation in Europe, I changed the time zone back from Paris to Abu Dhabi. So the time shows correct ... however, when viewing the world clock's ... the phone still has me in the Paris time zone (i.e. is showing Abu Dhabi +2 hours of the actual time and Paris as the same as my local time - which should be -2 hours).

Also texts are received and show time as -2 hours of my actual time !

Any suggestions ?

Cheers

Go to Preferences > Date & Time.
Turn on Time Zone Support, and set the Time Zone to Abu Dhabi.

Also, you can also turn on Set Automatically.
This lets the phone company set the time for you.
So if you get off the plane somewhere, it will be set automatically.

done that .... no good, doesn't work !

FYI

The Date & Time screen shows
Time Zone: Abu Dhabi
Set Date & Time : 12.15

Time Zone Support: On
Time Zone: Abu Dhabi

In world clock :
Abu Dhabi Time : 14.15
Pairs Time : 12.15

(if i turn it onto Set Automatically ... doesn't work either)

Also, the time stamped on the text messages and calls i receive are also incorrect as it is taking a -2 hour time to the time that i have set the phone too.
