I was expecting that.
By the way I am currently in Belgium and I checked the iPhone today. The guy told me it is unlocked and I can take is with me to Egypt. But the price is quite hight it is €525, so I do not know to buy or wait tell it arrive to Egypt.

fact is, belgium and italy probably are the only places to have unlocked

Only you can answer that question, do you want it badly enough now? If so, get it.
