I was expecting that.
By the way I am currently in Belgium and I checked the iPhone today. The guy told me it is unlocked and I can take is with me to Egypt. But the price is quite hight it is €525, so I do not know to buy or wait tell it arrive to Egypt.

buy one or 2 and see if you can sell one
fact is, belgium and italy probably are the only places to have unlocked )
and no restrictions on purchasing
