I've Read the Stickies, But Still Need Etisalat/Mobile Internet Help

Ok, I've signed up for Mobile Internet with Etisalat and received a notice that I "have been successfully subscribed to EWAP service." (This was a little surprising since I signed up for the 50M 3.5g plan which I thought was different from the ewap plan) I entered "etisalat.ae" in EDGE with username and password blank. Edge never started working. After 24 hours, I added the username and password "mnet" waited a while, nothing happened and I changed it to "ewap" and nothing happened.

I called Etisalat and told them I had an Apple, and they said, "No setting available sir!"

I called Etisalat and told them I had a Nokia, I was given a number to SMS the letter "S" to (settings). I received an SMS back saying "Sorry there are no settings supported for your mobile."

Help?

Well, I guess it just takes a little longer over here. My EDGE started working today using the settings etisalat.ae - blank - blank.

Weird that it took ten days and then just started working.
