Thumbs up iPhone and Blackberry Data Plan Etisalat BIS

I found that etisalat have a internet serves for blackberry you can use unlimited net for 185 DHM
Dose it work on the iphone ????
If its work dose it need a new settings

No, it doesn't work. You need separate data plan for iPhone's data traffic. If you search this site you'll find this discussed many times and the consensus seems to be it doesn't work.

Hello Magnus, I saw your iphone3g article in shuffle and it rekindled my interest in using iphone 3g with eitisalat. would you know what kind of data package will work with the iphone 3g if not the Blackberry BIS?

Magnus, maybe you should open a FAQ forum with answers like BIS on iPhone. APN Data settings on iPhone. etc....

That's a good idea, will have to think a bit about how to do it. There is a FAQ function in vBulletin but it's more for how to use the forum. Could put sticky threads for it, separated into the different questions.
