For the 3G you don't need BSD.
Check out the other posts to see how to do it.
Or check out iphoneislam.com
It is no longer free.
It costs $30.

I DON'T LIKE IPHONEISLAM, I HAD BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM, WHERE CAN I BUY AND DOWNLOAD ARABIC ON MY IPHONE 3G V2.1, I CAN READ SEPARATED ARABIC LETTERS, BUT I CAN NOT HAVE ARABIC KETBOARD, I AM WONDERING WHY APPLE DON'T WANT TO CREATE ARABIC PROGRAMS ON TEIR SITES

Trust me dude, Paying iPhoneIslam.com a measly $30 for a fully working Arabic iphone is soooooooooooooooo worth the money... its worth every penny.. and the garente that they will have aRABIC AVAILABLE... FOR FREEE.. every time Apple updates there iphone software... so u get Arabic from now till Apple decides to put arabic in the iphone i have installed the 30$ Arabic on 7 iPhones so far.. and my friends are loving it.. so dont waist ur time trying to look for arabic anywhere else... i dont even think there is anywhere else for the ipHONE 2.1, but ipHONEISLAM...

I don't know of anyway to install Arabic other than iPhoneIslam.
I found it to be a very smooth and simple installation, and the product is worth every penny.

The fact is nobody did any work other than II, on versions 1.x.
They were giving it out for free (and rightly so, it was still to hard to install and not perfect in the end).
I guess they realized that there is no competition, and that they have a good product, and decided to charge for it.

mafakih, why do you hate it?
What is your experience with them?
Also, please turn off caps when posting, its the same as shouting.

For Arabic programs, check this out.

And no need to type all capitals
