SMSd available from installer has finally added multiple SMS recipients and batch transfer / forward. You have to use this as it is dead simple. I am trying to add some features for the program with the author.

It will also delete rogue SMS's that crash the iPhone SMS App, by deleting those messages with unreadable characters. Ignore my long method I have written for the Harry Potter SMS Crash on the site, if you install this app!

multiple sms

While on vacation back home in Pakistan, a friend told me about the utility called SMSD that I downloaded over the wifi from ifono.no. If it is not in your sources, you can add it. Works great. Have been using it for a week or so now. Have sent many sms in UAE to multiple users. Works like a charm.

Guys please don't fix this problem.
This is the main reason I didn't buy an iPhone.
And I'm trying to wait for the new (rumored) iPhone.

lol

Can SMSD read foreign languages (Arabic, etc)?
Gaurang , which of the two programs is better?
I tried the first one, and it was very good.

SMSd is a pure SMS client. It now supports groups and templates you can save, and is not at all confusing. Its the best IMHO. Much easier to use than we tool, and keeps the interface similar to Apple's native mail interface. Also you can install language tools by searching google and an earlier post to read Arabic (Arabic iPhone SMS Application) here.

Thanks for the link. There is a lot there.

Gaurang
Thanks for the recommendation. I know about mem9. It is not bad.
However, you can imagine how confusing things get with the original SMS.app, the forwarding SMS program, and the Arabic SMS program.

Anyway, I read today that next generation iPhone is in the "final design phase".
I will TRY to hold out till then.

Sending multiple sms on iphone

Using the installer on your iphone install SMSD and Ulctl onto your iphone. Then when send a message it will look like an email format. This also breaks up your messages so that you can delete single entries from your conversation.
You can also send to multiple or forward to multiple contacts. Love it.
