Actually I could say you're both wrong, APN etisalat.ae, and username and password both blank works fine on post-paid at least.

You guys are hilarious... Did you every think about that maybe it does not matter which username and password you use?! The authorisation is done via the unique SIM ID. And certainly not via username ans password.... Keep on guessing

Hello good people, I am really great full to join you.

After I followed the ideas posted by all of you I managed to connect my IPhone to e-mails and internet.
For the time being I am trying to do my best to handle the mms , sending and receiving but no success. Moreover, I'd like to know is it possibles in the future to have Arabic futures by downloading.

Me too.....I have unlocked iPhone 1.1.4. (I think) 16GB and having a trouble like you do.....
I am black berry subscriber with Etisalat and I tried APN:etisalat.ae No Passward and username, APN:mnet Passward and username:mnet, APN:etisalat.ae Pssward and username:mnet etc....
I think I tried everything but it shows that 'Could not activate EDGE: You are not subscribed to EDGE'....
Please please can someone help me???

Do I need to set up other function as well? like VPN or Roaming should be ON??

Are you subscribed to a data plan? Blackberry plan doesn't count, it can't be used for data on iPhone, you need separate data plan.

Hi,I have a 8GB iPhone and I have never used a blackberry before so I don't have any settings in my number.I just have GPRS activated on my number by which I can use mms on my other nokia phones but it doesn't work with iPhone.I have asked etisalat for the settings but they said they don't have any mms settings for iPhone.I have a prepaid number not a postpaid,what should I do then???From where will I get the settings???Can anyone help please???I am dying to use my mms from my iPhone.Please help.
