Development issue of Shuffle?

Would there be any interest of a Development focused issue of Shuffle? Who would write something and about what? I can see myself contribute with:
- Some simple Applescript/Automator tutorial
- Something about PHP and MySQL
- Maybe something in Java

I would be more than happy to contribute to the PHP/MySQL stuff, and even a bit to Applescript.

A whole issue devoted towards development might be a bit of stretch, perhaps something like a "power user" issue? Include things like hosting your own site with Dynamic DNS services, enabling applescript calls from Apache (Dangerous, I do not recommend ), etc.

What exactly you mean with developing focused on Apple Shuffle?

Woigl: Shuffle is the name of the EMUG Magazine. It's published on a monthly basis, written by EMUG members.

Magnus didn't actually mean software development for the iPod shuffle, but rather development articles for the Magazine "Shuffle"

gotcha - sorry... i am new to EmiratesMac... Maybe this would be an idea for a Widget...

i am thinking of a widget that displays informations about EmiratesMac News and the Shuffle Magazine. And we will write an article how to create widgets based on the one which i just mentioned :-)

Okay, i know the shuffle newsletter, just got my first copy of it at GITEX...

Is there any requirement/interest to get articles about some development staff about MacOS? Or in the opposite way, any wish to display parts of the newsletter or news of emiratesmac.com as a widget?

Do you want woigl@emiratesmac.com email address, and a woigl.emiratesmac.com web space, then go for the higher level. If that is not of any interest or value to you, go for the lower
