There used to be a joke around back in the day that Ford was actually an acronym for Fix Or Repair Daily. I'm with Fangpyre. Ive owned a Mustang GT, a Chevy Lumina SS, and Now the Dodge Charger. One muscle car from each of the American big 3. and Ford is the LAST thing I would ever buy. A customer of mine at the bank is a sales woman at Premier motors, and she "tried" to argue about how good fords are and they arent as they were 10 years ago. Im like I had a 2004 stang! Their bodies are made (I swear) by material less decent than a hotwheels car. The GM, especially ones sold here, which are Australia rebranded Holdens, are AMAZING. The Dodge is an acquired taste. I prefer it to my dad's BMW though. seriously. But Ford? FORD? eh. eh x2! Is she feeling ill these days maybe?

Well Well Well, didn't Magnus open a can of worms! LOL I am a Ford person, yes I just said it! LOL My first car was a Mustang, and I loved my Mustang. It was a lovely candy apple red, and it took me places that most people would never take their trucks, much less their nice car. So, Magnus is right it has to be a Ford over a GM or Dodge any day! | |

Nothing wrong loving a Ford (just as long as it ain't a PC). Who can hate a Mustang as a first car? And a Ford dealership only means you get good deals. Quote:

I think the Accord Coupe beats it hands down, the Accord Coupe feels more luxurious than the Altima Coupe, has more space in the back and the boot is smaller than the Accord Coupe. Plus, Altima Coupe felt kinda plasticky.

I like the GTi more than the R32. Its a great car, the question is torque vs. BHP The GTi has higher torque, the R32 has like 30 BHP more. I ended up taking the Tiguan. Seems like a nice car so far. Good value for money.

Well the GTI and R32 are completely different cars. The R32 has 4x4 drive and a V6. The torque in the R32 is higher (236 pound-feet) while the GTI has 207 pound-feet. Additional to that the R32 has 50 bhp more than the GTI which has a 4 Cyl. 2.0 Turbo engine compared to the 3.2 VR 6 from the R32.

I was under the impression that the GTi has more torque. As for the rest, you are right. Though the price difference is justified. But I don't feel like I need those things in Dubai, Dubai has rain once a year, so there is no need for 4x4. I don't race, there goes the extra power (and the 4x4). And there are speed traps all over the place. And I prefer the way the GTi looks over the R32. But don't get me wrong, its a great car. BTW, Dubai will be launching 500 "Smart Radars" after Eid. So Happy Eid, guys. The new radars "cannot be distinguished from normal cars". 50 of them will be on Sh. Zayed Rd.
