Cheaper iPhone plans and new data-only plans from Etisalat

Etisalat has made some changes to their iPhone offerings:

• Postpaid plans are cheaper
• Prepaid iPhone 3G is cheaper
• 5GB and 10GB data-only plans

Think iPhone 3GS is close?

I've asked them for a confirmation on that but my guess is yes.

not sure yet, but some of my friends in the university has told me that Etisalat will offer the "google phone" after two days from today, again not sure if that true but he said that this is for sure.

So, did any one hear any thing about this?

Finally it seems that Etisalat is trying to move the stock. I guess they are preparing to launch the 3Gs at the previous price points but want to get rid of the 3G stock first. The post paid packages are more realistic now and closer to their counterparts from Mobily in Saudi Arabia. Hope Etisalat would earn its lesson and launch the 3Gs at realistic price points too.

I doubt it - last time etisalat reduced prices you had to call them and ask them to cancel your existing package and subscribe to the new cheaper one.

your right there will be no changes made to existing users. Not even for data. That sucks
