Stickers on cars is illegal, and it isnt a new law. I was stoped and ordered to take one off of my car back in 2001. Maybe its new to Dubai, her ein AD we've had it on the books for years.

A cop isnt going to stop you for it though. If you are stopped for example, for your tint, or speeding (As I was), then he'll add the sticker thing if he wants to. It really isnt enforced unless its something explicit. I havent seen the wording of the law yet.

However, if you arent ever ticketed for it you will have to remove it for registration. Thats a problem Im having right now, Do I add a few thousand worth of vinyl on my car just to have to remove it all in 11 months?

I think i have a hint where this thread is going..lets try not to hijack this one too..lol..But yes your right about the part where it wouldnt be worth adding expensive vinyls just to take it off for the reg. But we're only talking about a small probably 400x150 sticker.
Which is strange though what about those stickers on the rear window that says im vkool. How come tht isnt illegal?
