We've had this idea for a long time but haven't really done much about it. Now in cooperation with Shufflegazine we want to try to get the Campus Rep program going again.

We're looking for willing people on college and university campuses around the region to be Campus Reps. What does this involve?

Be main point of contact for Apple questions related to your campus (see below).
Make sure Shufflegazine is distributed on campus (we will send copies to the campus and supply stands, you make sure the stands are full).
Help us coordinate events and activities on campus. This could be short work shops, open days, talk to teachers about using Apple technology in courses, etc.

What will Campus Reps get? We're still working on that one but for sure we'll list you and your campus in Shufflegazine so others can see you and get in touch with you if they want to. If you do something like a campus newsletter we can let you take articles from Shufflegazine to reprint. There are also other things in it for you, details will be revealed later. For sure we'll get you a Shufflegazine shirt

I would be involved in any kind of mac activity especially from my country...

I'm a university student, but I'm not from Emirates.

I'd love to but I am not even in the Middle East! I'm just an Arab in the US who loves his Mac (and would wish that Microsoft Office would be Arabic friendly)

Hey! I used to be in Wollongong 'till 2006. how's the campus/staff? Haven't seen many Mac users when I was around. Hopefully that changed.

Hi Magnus,

I'm already distributing Shufflegazine here at American University of Sharjah (AUS) to faculty and students in our School SA+D@AUS, where we all use Macs, and I'm willing to do it university wide. and I'm willing to be part of this Campus Rep program. please let me know what more has to be done.

@gibbs, nah, that hasnt changed :P only a handful of mac users still :P staff is ok, campus is still same, too boring:P the chair resigned, Lajla? she's now at Middlesex right opposite to wollongong

Thanks to everyone showing an interest so far but we still need more names!

We're compiling a list of reps now and will get back to everyone later with some more information. In the mean time, any ideas and suggestions you have, send them to us.
