What's Up With Hayah Film Competition?

We've received a few questions lately about the Hayah Film Competition, whether it's going to run again.

The simple fact is that we were not asked to be a part of the Middle East International Film Festival again, since last year's festival we've actually not heard from the MEIFF people at all, not even trying to evaluate last year.

We've been talking to the Abu Dhabi Women's College, our other partner in Hayah, but they didn't want it this semester, rather focusing on next semester instead. I'm not quite sure why, as the Spring is usually full of events, but they've mentioned that Hayah could be a part of their Desert Rose festival, which this year was held in early June.

So we're still hoping that Hayah will run again. When, how, in what format, etc. we don't know, but you'll be the first to know if something is announced.
