New Blocked Site Graphic in UAE

I just clicked on a link and it turned out it went to someone's account on Flickr.com and that site is as we know blocked in UAE. To my surprise I was shown a new graphic.

There is also a link to the "Prohibited Content Categories" PDF document.

I should add that I connect using Etisalat DSL. If you're on Du, do you see same picture?

yes magnus apprantely this is since the past 2 days, and it turns out its similar to Saudi Arabia blocked webpage graphic.

now now magnus... its ok if u wanted to open a website with graphic images of women :P we've all been thru tht stage, no need2cover up it up with some1's flickr account :P

Is it just me or was the old image much better than this one?

The new one seems so simple, like it was done in MS Paint.

i read the whole PDF, where exactly would u put flickr!!! its a photos database website, and look at metacafe its a vedio streaming site and has much worst content

Are we talking here about uporn or sxtube? A buddy of mine had that problem with his internet provider, but after just using some other DNS Server it worked again. Another one told me he fixed it with using a proxy.

We're not talking any particular site, we're talking the blocking mechanism that UAE government has put into place for various sites. How someone could get around that is not something we discuss on the site.

The feedback form is now hosted on the etisalat.ae domain, and doesn't require authentication to submit a site for review.

Coincidentally, someone, somewhere must actually read those things. I submitted a site several months ago and it suddenly started working.

That or it's just dumb luck.
