I see... strange though...
From what I know, it's AT&T and their 3G Networking issues that has caused the Bold to be delayed in the US. Or, it could be the iPhone 3G's launch

I have got the bold last week through souq.com, the device is fine, but the software needs some work, I have downloaded the latest beta firmware, but Im still only getting 12 hour battery life maximum, connections are good and fast, it definitely highlights the holes or caverns in Etisalat's 3g network, I am using the missing sync for it to work with my mac, which is great, the pocket mac does not yet support it. I too can confirm that it works on Etisalat, and if you get the t mobile from Germany you can upgrade the firmware with no issues, it even has arabic support with a bit of playing!!!!!
Yes I ordered it from tmobile in germany. Which firmware you have? Be careful: On souq they recently sold some preengineering models which you can not upgrade at all.

just comparing it to the Blackberry Curve. The Bold has that dock type thing at the bottom of the screen which reduces the screenspace for the rest of the stuff.
Not true... this "dock" is visible only on the home screen.... Sure its not there when you watch a video or pictures etc....
