I think it is bigger and better than the BB.
However, a real keyboard is better.

So unless you are comparing to a bigger keyboard, like some HTCs and the E90, I prefer the iPHone.
Also, I prefer the thickness of the phone over the keyboard or other dimensions.

This is true. But here is a way to help survive:

On current Gen Blackberries, load Opera. It doesn't do native integration with the BB shell, which is a pain, but it's a much nicer browser than the bone-stock version.

Shortly there will be a firmware update that includes the new browser, which is based on WebKit IIRC, so browsing should get much much better.

The only thing is, I don't know which phones are eligible for the update, and BB updates are always weird thanks to carrier / administrator authorization.

I agree Opera is pretty good, and on 3G it would be pretty sweet and with the Bold's higher pixel resolution it should look pretty good.

the most exciting thing about the article -beside it is all true and respected- is mentioning Magnus name, and EmiratesMac website, big THANKS TO SCOTT.
He is talking about emiratesmac as a major player when it comes to Apple products, we should all feel proud about that

Well not to overdo the site's and the community's importance, but I think it's fair to say that in the two or so years we've been around we've made an impact locally and perhaps regionally as well. We serve an important function in terms of news, education, information and support. As the Apple-market grows here, and I think we can all agree that it is growing, we will be along for the ride. There will be commercial companies popping up here and there, but if all they care about is their bottom line and disregard the community, I think they're not going to be as successful as they could be.

This is something you should all feel proud over, to have been a part of building this.

I have to point out it's not "my" web site. I may have started it and I may do most the admin work, but it's still the site of EmiratesMac Apple User Group.

I always wondered about that from day one. I have only seen one admin, and no mods on this forum, probably the only or maybe the first of its kind. And tho we may take things for granted sometimes, we do appreciate your his-admin-ness (in all seriousness). Maybe thats what makes some of us stay here. No site politics, no new rules added everyday, clean talk.

Only thing still left is the 3G courtesy magnus (damn m pushing my luck ! )
