Anyone got the remote app?
Works well on my MacBook but can't get it to work on my ATV. I did an update on the ATV but it is only 2.0.2 and not 2.1 which I think might be needed for the remote app.
Any clues?

I read this on the etisalat web site regarding the iPhone
"• iTunes Shop the iTunes Music Store over both Wi-Fi and cellular networks. Choose from millions of DRM-free iTunes Plus songs. And pay the same price you do on iTunes on your computer"
Do you think that the UAE iTunes store will have music and movies now, I have checked since the launch of the iPhone but no different.
Or has etisalat cut and pasted the iPhone specs from apple?
I think its cut and paste.
Plagiarism at its finest.
Stay hungry. Stay Foolish.
I'd vote for cut and paste to. My college students used to do it all the time, they didn't get away with it but guess some telecom companies do.

there's a small annoying problem, I can't open the iTunes App in iPhone ... anyone else having this problem? I just want to see podcasts![]()
Just a thought.
Why would you pay for anything on iTunes when you can get them for free elsewhere?
I know what you're going to say, Using a service like Limewire is illegal.
Yes, yes it is. If you are in the US, and other places that have anti piracy laws THAT include online downloading.
We dont have those in the UAE. So technically, downloading a song here isnt illegal. At least thats my understanding of it.
Something is illegal if that action goes against a set law in the country (or geographic location) that you are in. We hardly have effective piracy laws when it comes to physical matter, (CDs, DVDs, Boks...)
We dont have any piracy laws concerning downloading.
You're wrong Ultra. There are laws against piracy here in the UAE. And there is a copyright protection devision in the Ministry of Economic (which was previously in the Ministry of Information) that handle these matters.
If there were no laws, you would've seen pirated copies of DVDs, Audio CDs, and Games being sold in Virgin, Carrefour and other big outlets. But it's not the case!
As an example, in Egypt there was no such law. So you can find pirated PS2 & PC games as well as Audio CDs sold in Carrefour last year. Things have changed now!
Regarding this, I'm sure there's a law as well. Might not be clear in the Copyright law though. But I recall reading about a devision in Dubai Police that follow-up frauds and piracy online cases.
I think the new media law that will be implemented soon should have more details on this matter.
If you can't see me, that doesn't mean I don't exist![]()
