Help Firefox to set a world record

Maybe its not the best place to put something like this.

I love Safari, and its the best browser ever, but lets be honest, i cant use computer without my lovely Firefox!!!

Firefox in its 3rd release is trying to set a new "crazy" world record, which is the number of downloads of an application in one day (24 hours).

The BIG download day will be this Tuesday, 17-June-2008, lets see if Firefox can register itself as the highest downloaded software in one day.

I think it's the perfect place! I love Firefox and version 3 is really nice. I'll definitely download it on the 17th, probably to quite a few machines, both Windows and Mac.

just wait one or 2 hours, dont download now, the 24 hour counter didnt start yet, it will start when all the world clocks enters Tuesday

I pledged a while ago. It's really cool to be a part of that world record. BTW, isn't it June 17 already? :O

Hi guys

Just few more hours, hold on, the Guiness world record will start counting at 10:00 AM in California time, which is 9:00 PM in UAE time.

Firefox 3, is not just another release of our lovely browser, its a new version that will really change the way of browsing, and the meaning of internet, it supports HTML 5, and CSS 3, that means awesome websites, and easier lifes for us (web developers ;-) )

BTW, FF 3, has 4 themes, Mac OS X, WinXP, Vista and Linux themes. that mean it will look just like ur other Mac apps

I also cannot access firefox.com or mozilla.com. Tried to update, but it doesn't register anything new. It's been an hour late :O I bet they found a loophole and now they're all working to solve it or something. Hopefully the hype doesn't fade away.
