    Nothing in local papers

I've looked in the Gulf News this morning and I couldn't find anything locally-written about Apple's announcements yesterday. The do cover Apple, I must say that, because they have close to half a page about it, but it's all Reuters.

This is rather common unfortunately, and it's nothing particular to Apple really. There is so much content in the papers that doesn't make any sense to people in the UAE because it's written and produced mostly in the US, for a US audience. It would certainly be nice to see more written in the UAE, with a UAE perspective, which I'm sure would be different from the US perspective most of the time.

But hey, I guess we'll just have to provide the UAE perspective of anything Apple related on this site then, right?
