| Time to Start Training Again As you may be aware EmiratesMac Apple User Group offers training in Mac OS X and iLife. This training has been dormant for a while, in part because we've not had a place to have the training, but now we're reviving it. As a part of our new partnership with Tashkeel, we're now going to have out training in their facilities in the Nad Al Sheba area of Dubai. The first set of training courses will be scheduled for April 19, 2008, and they will be:
These are courses directed at beginners, like those who have just switched to Mac. As you can see they are each three hours long, which means participants will get a quick overview of Mac OS X and iLife. There is also plenty of scope for participants asking questions and us covering particular areas that they are interested in. As before each course is AED250, which includes a one-year membership to EMUG. For members the fee is AED100. Members of Tashkeel get a discount so their fees are AED200/AED100. ![]() You can find all the details on our Training page. If you're interested in taking part, that's also where you sign up and pay for the training. We created a simple flyer [600kb PDF] which you can send to people or print and give out. The more we get word out about the training, the more people we can have attend the training, and the more dedicated Mac users there will be in our community. And that can't be a bad thing And of course if you're a member of the EmiratesMac Apple User Group and want to help your fellow Mac-fans in using their Mac more efficiently, let us know if you're willing to stand in as a teacher of our courses. |
