New iPod Nano (New Mini) in Dubai

It's been only few days since Stevo announced the New iPod nano, and belive it or not! It's in Dubai TODAY!

Thanks to EmiratesMAC for the Early tip off news regarding the Virgin store (MoE) they got enough quantity that will last, lets say! few hours

Today on the shelf,
2GB Silver - ???AED
4GB Silver - 899AED
4GB Blue - 899AED
4BG Pink - 899AED

Hopefully Tomorrow
4GB Green - 899AED
8GB Black - ???AED

1 wife 1 me

Let me play with it for an hour, and shot some more photos and maybe a mini review. get back to you soon.

HAHAHA! Star striken by Technology, huh? happens to me often. I dont like that they made the Nano look more like the old minis, the old Nano was more symmetrical, boxy, I guess I dont like the curved sides.

Thank you for all the detailed pics though, I will have to check them out, I wonder if they'll have them in AD Mall.

woooooooooooow... thats very unexpected... i am shocked, and pissed cause i wiish i was there to go buy 2 colors... "this month" and more the next month.. and so on and so forth :P its not fair.. i am in Bahrain, i will go check if they got here today or tomorrow... if so i might get one from here... so its almost 300dhs more the original price... hmmmm... do u think thats not bad?????i love the pics... thanxs for the post iDubai... i love it when people post pics.. they make it sooo much more fun and excitting... u rock

by the way the pink is not bad at all.. i am sooo getting one for the wifey :P

So, After testing it all night

+ a morning workout with my Nike+iPod. It was cool and refreshing.

Several things got updated/Changed.

Packaging: Small, clear hard plastic. Light, and see Throu. NICE! Although it does not look like an apple product (Black box with dominant Apple logo) next to my collection of Mac boxes, but I'm sure that I will get over it once the new product line fill up my room

CD: No CD's this time, Apple, assuming you got web access, and you can download iTune 7.

Design: Aluminum finish, which means better scratch resistance.

Screen Resolution: It is bright, Well! Very Bright

Ear plug: Enhanced look, more organic, and very MAC'ish.

Size: Although looks small, it is actually exact size.

Colors: More options, Silver, Blue, Pink!!! Green, and of course our favorite Black! I like the Silver because it matching with 20" cinema display 12" G4. Excellent!

GB: They vary from
2GB - Only Silver
4Gb - Silver, Blue, Pink, Green
8GB - Only Black

Conclusion: The nano is basically a mini re designed. A retro look. I'm happy that I bough it, Funky, Sick & cool to have in the GYM. It is a must for a Mac Lovers to have in there collection. But when will iFever stop.

where did u get the nike+ from? i want one of those, cause i do run alot.. so it would be very usefull for me...
