My MacBook Pro has been stolen!

Dear all, I am a forum noob so apologies if this post is in the wrong place, I'm not sure how these things work! As you can see from the title my MacBook Pro 17" has been stolen. It was taken from my studio at the front of my villa in Abu Dhabi on the evening of 15th December. The thief removed a pane of glass from the door, climbed in and took my MacBook along with a Sony Vaio laptop, a Nokia N96 mobile and a small amount of cash. I know it's a long shot but I would be grateful if everyone could keep a lookout for suspicious 2nd hand MacBook Pro sellers! Also a warning for everyone to keep their valuable Mac babies out of sight. The only piece of good news - Time Machine backed up every last drop of my hard work, thank God.

I'm really sorry to hear that but good that you have a backup. Do you have the serial number of the MBP so people can perhaps recognize it if they come across one for sale?
