Thread: Anyone got their EmiratesID?

    EmiratesID Everyone is Registered or No?

    I was trying to download the Pre-Registration Application form from the www.emiratesID.ae but being a Mac user found myself in a quicksand.
    Damn why did I trash that window vista DVD

    Anyways I need help. After downloading the zip file I get some .msi file. can anybody help, please.

    Not sure what you mean "partial to shufflegazine here"?

    As soon as we went live with Shufflegazine.com, I said I'd move most of my Apple blogging to there, so that's never been any secret.

    ok continuing what we started there.

    As i mentioned the app is Java (which is sweet), but the problem is its wrapped in an EXE file. And then wrapped again in MSI file.
    The purpose is to make it easy for Windows users to get it running quickly.

    I dont know if its possible for them to distribute another install package, without the EXE thing. Since its Java the only thing we will need is a JAR file!!

    But anyway, i didnt try this yet since im on my PC in work. I think Wine could solve the problem. Install it and then run the "pre-registration.exe" file inside it.
