Haha that's great! Does explain a few things.

I finally managed to get my ID card, as did my mum and dad in July; we had to go to Ras Al Khaimah to get ours done though. After our original Appointment registered for back in Feb , got mysteriously canceled. The 80+ KM drive (from where I live in Sharjah) is well worth it, no crowds, no problem. we were out of there within 40 minutes. Mum's and my cards were delivered a week later, dad's just arrived a few days ago (couple of months late, but hey)
