I always order stuff from amazon...I never have problem shipping order to UAE

Amazon has no problem shipping to the UAE.
But some items have deals that prevent them from shipping outside the US or to certain countries.

I stand corrected. I guess everything I want to buy from Amazon falls in to the "won't ship to UAE" category
    shameless self promotion

Again, Aramex shop and ship is the best idea since sliced bread. And EVERYTHING I have ever ordered from Amazon, eBay, or elsewhere, has come thru with no or minimum issues.

I think it will be a good idea to have litle marketplace on this site. Where people can sell/buy/exchange some hardware/software items. It need to be properly administrated.

Also would be nice to have some participating shops with promotions/discounts + technical service providers directory

I see this as natural expansion of this site (maybe with some Facebook/Flickr integration as well).

Heh, i got too many wishes i know

Also i know that this is probably presented in EMUG but its not come for free (which is strange - I can get all of it doing a bit googling)

    P.P.S. just some thoughts...whatever

You mean like New and good ideas are always welcome. We've been working on a redesign and reorganization of the site and that's coming.

I've calculated some figures for the new Mac laptops. The calculation incorporate AppleCare (I'll only sell Mac's with AppleCare), my 5% shopping/service fee, shipping by weight (USPS Priority International 6-10 days), and Paypal currency exchange/transfer fee of 3.9%.
I think this covers the costs but I'm not completely positive. Is there any service fees that I haven't listed?

Well, seems more expensive than locally. The difference is the Apple Care protection plan...
Furthermore, being a EMUG member, you will also receive some discounts in the local iStore...
NOTE, I tried to sell my brand new Alu MacBook locally for 5700 aed, with no takers, so I do not see this work, but that is just my personal opinion.

    ALU MacBook 13.3"

Note: the prices I listed all have AppleCare. Do the prices you listed have AppleCare? The US price for AppleCare is now $349 or 1,281.87 AED which was just update since I made my calculation 2 days ago. So the calculation should be $100 more US dollars than I what posted.

I live in the US by the way.

    Thanks

As I understand things, Apple Care is WORTHLESS outside of the US. So no point in that. Also, as Sandyclaws here stated well, all your prices will end up costing MORE than the items are sold for here. You wont be in business too long.
