Desalination

hello people,

i have a university assignment on Why Desalination of water is required to save the environment. i've googled but i hvnt found satisfactory reasons as to why water needs to be desalinated/recycled. anyone care to help? the assignment is due tonight at 12, so any help even till 11:30 tonight will be appreciated, hell, i might even post my mohawk picture if you want something in return for ur help:P

Is the assignment really "why desalination of water is required to save the environment"? As far as I know desalination is absolute disaster for the environment so I don't see how it can be required.

desalination is DISASTer? :| isnt desalination separating salts from water for consumptio, irrigation etc? how about recycling water? could that be helpful? the question wsnt desalination specific, it was recycling of water, and i thought desalination is recycling of water. any ideas now?

OMG you need to be smacked. I HATE it when Sarah lets her papers un-touched till a few hours before it's due.

Without any research, logically, there isnt enough water for the worlds now 6 billion plus people. desalinization is a need for us to even just keep surviving.

But as Magnus said, he byproducts of this process kill the environment, water is polluted, the air is polluted... eh.

Also, recycling water (they do this in AZ and Cali in the US) is, just as all other recycling activities, a need, this planet cant keep giving us brand new everything.

i was just too caught up with marketing, i forgot about this

so any links to info on WHY water recycling has now become a NEEED? becasue i need facts and quite solid of em aswell. i dont know if u've earned the mohawk pic yet :P but here ya are anyway :P

LOL! i'd be chucked outa the house for tht :P not untill im on my own, cant get em
but even these hair make heads turn :P i wna get em electric blue, but my hair are jet-black, the color wont come on

u will see those sumday inshallah

:P for now, u have to settle with these

My hair is jetblack as well, I got it red, pink, blood red, green, blue, and aqua. You need to bleach it 1st. twice, it'll your hair is blonde, then color it as you like.
