New Mac Book Pro 17"

Wow its been a long long long long time ago since i visited EM (Honestly, sorry from the bottom of my heart), no excuses for a peek or two once in a while but err .. err .. it was work .. i swear ..

Kinda miss the "Know it all Magnus"

I finally decided to upgrade my status from the iMac i have to a brand new MacBook Pro. Well at least NOW i wont be spending a full day re-installing a system with drivers, softwares, utilities, add-ons ... hmmm. But the Compaq has served my purpose for a long time now so no regrets there. I got the MBP from iStyle in AUH mall. Configuration is :

17" 2.6
2GB RAM
250GB SD (Tho i wish i could upgrade to more. Any ideas ?)
512MB GDDR3 GeForce 8600M GT
English / Arabic Keyboard
OS X 10.5.2

Gosh its so easy to write mac specs compared to PC specs

Less stuff more power. Anyho, I would also plan to join in the EMUG soon. I am slowly slithering into a little bit of Mac development, but i must admit that programming on a mac and pc are two completely different things, the concept remains same but the way you apply it is different. So i think it would take a few days before i get somewhere.

And that charger baby is one hell of a rubber burning machine ! I am happy with a focus, happy cause 2 days ago my insurance broke news to me that they wont continue my premium (not too many claims but too much money lol

) so no new car for me as of yet, but i do want to mod it out any ideas ? I'll start a new topic for this so i can have some ideas. And it took you 3 years for your warranty to wear off ? lol i took 8 months and i am 70K km already. Auh - dxb travel everyday is a bummer !

Ohh and thanks, i will love this mbp as if it were my own blood !

LOL, yes, You know how the warranty is x amount of KMs OR x amount of year?

Been 2 and a half years and Im still not at 80,000 Kms. Dont drive much. Its a ford yeah? Roots type Super Charger! 40-50% power increase. You will like!

Own blood? with those specs your MBP is worth more than my 1st born! (big words for someone without kids huh? lol)
