Where can I buy Asus eee pc in UAE?

I would be grateful if somebody advise me mall in Dubai where I can buy eeepc. Is it possible to find them (eeepc) in Dubai? What are their prices?

ASUS hasnt officially released it yet. As per their current schedule, it should be coming out in May. The problem is that the Middle East isnt getting allocation since the demand is so strong for them worldwide. ASUS would rather meet the demands in other regions than to release it in another new region and be short on stock which makes sense.

Why not just buy it from Amazon.com? I've been thinking about it myself.

There are new ones out on the market now, with XP as standard. Also the latest I heard for a release here was MAy, any update on that date? I some how think that it will be pushed back again.

I hope Linux is an option, I don't want it if it runs XP.

Update: read the review, there's a 12GB option which comes with XP and a 20GB option which is Linux. Seems like a pretty nice little machine. I'd love to have a closer look at one.

just got one tonight dhs/1400 it is the 4gb version the salesman didn't know anything about the 20gb version and thought what the heck get it while you can.

I got it at Eon which is on the third floor of moe yes that's the third floor behind jackys. There was only four left when I got mine don't know what there stock is like though.

380 bucks for a PC that now costs like 280? woah. I need to check it out though. but I kind of sort of spent a bit more than I expected on my car this month so I need to watch my spending for the next 6 or so. :-(

I want to see it too. I don't think I'd get the older version at this point though, I want the new 20GB and larger screen.
