Banner picture doesn't show for me in Firefox, it shows in Safari though.

I think the banner you made is a good start. I don't think we want to change our apple or the user group logo though. Tabs is an interesting idea. If it can all be tied up with a vB skin it may be worth taking a look at

I feel comfortable if the site stays as it is. Not because of the design or any thing, but I reached an age that if I don't find a link/button on the same position I'll feel lost and my afternoon will be ruined then

Seriously, forums and webdesign don't necesarily meet, the pupose of forums are simply to ask and reply, hence needs simple design to locate massive amount of information… my opinion

i am sorry for that
but i will try to make a design which is simliar to this one so u will feel comfortable also
and after i complete the skin u can swich back to the original skin or the new skin

Well I think the situation is like this: we know that the site's look could be improved, that's for sure, but it's good enough for now. There's a lot going on with EmiratesMac and for right now the look of the site is not a priority in terms of what we are working on. There's too much going on right now to put effort into that too. Eventually we'll change the look, reorganize some, and just make this into a better web site, forum, etc.

That all said, I continuously look at different vB skins but I've yet to find one that I just say "wow, that's exactly what we're looking for" about. My guess is that at some point in the future, when there's time and money, we'll order a custom made skin. But we're not at that point now. But I welcome anyone who has ideas and suggestions to post it here, or PM or email me.

And we really appreciate that. All I'm saying is that if you create something intended for us, don't just assume we will use it, we'll look at it and see if it's something we feel we can use. Also, we always look at suggestions and listen to good ideas. In the end though, if things will change, it's for EmiratesMac to decide
