Hello everybody,
I am very happy to join EmiratesMac group and hope to be a very active members all the time. Wish everybody a very happy new year and all the best friends.
For about 11 years now, Arabic users have had no Operating System on their beloved Macintosh platform. We know the local dealer has been busy for some time (over a year) in localizing OSX Tiger, and it we heard of it completion two months ago or more, but until now nothing was announced officially.
I am sure there are more work to be done on the current version, but we ask Localization Team to concentrate on Leopard instead and give us all features we were waiting for in the past.
For those who were waiting for such an official release, well here is the link to download a free copy of Tiger. and please do tell your friends who were waiting to switch to the Mac platform only if there is an Arabic Mac OS that now is the time to catch up with the best.
Thanks for all who have made this version available and possible. Thanks for the Localization Team.

Looks lovely - I'll download it now...but is this only for Intel? (I'm still using PPC)
...and also - how is it working for you?
Hi,
what is the procedure for using Arabic on the Mac?
As I have a workstation that I want to use for Podcasting via iWeb, but need it to be in Arabic so it makes sense to my web guys.
Thanks
Gday
