was thinking how a bout a great get together. where in all regestered members meet at a hotel and a small registration fee be collected from.
a big weekend is comming up ahead.

Well, we could also come up with a sort of an outing. A road trip to oman perhaps or to a resort at fujairah ?

That would surely give me a chance to swap keys with ultra and "test" his charger

How about a lunch / dinner plan on the weekend ? Magnus can pop the question in a new thread, with a date time etc (no one denies "the man") people register with names and contact, meet .. eat .. drink .. show off the geeky stuff .. split the bill (or let zaid / fangpyre pay generously) .. Howzaat ?!

I don't mind paying.
But with my budget you will be going on very strict diet.
A huge part of it will be water.
Lots of water.

I certainly don't mind events or even paying a bit, sounds good to me. Just remember we have already monthly scheduled meeting and attendance is often an issue.

Let put it this, a small amount be collected from one and all wanting to attend. I guess attandance should not be an issue after they pay a bit. Besides this is not being done for one individual this is done for all who take the time to make better the forum.

water sounds good but if you add it to something besides a little food would do good too. Since i should not be all talk talk .. i have 3 dates, so take your pick and the next step would be a venue. How does 8, 9 or 10 aug sound ? Any different dates welcome too.
