Ok, this is a good one for you smart gurus out there. Besides i couldnt be on line for another minute with the tech person at DU who conveniently tells me "Sir, you can only connect one computer to your du connection, for another computer you pay 100AED extra and get another point activated" :d i love this business i could be a millionaire in less than 1 week here !
Anyhu, I went and bought this Linksys router WAG200G, and when i come home and try to connect it, i see the traditional telephone socket that says "Line" so i am gussing it uses the old internet connection basis (RJ14 i think), etisalat used to give before they learned about LAN connections. Has anyone been successful in using an ADSL+Router hardware with the DU lan connection ? Or are there hardwares that i am unaware which take in RJ45 cables as the main line ?
