Your welcome. It is nice to have this discussion.
We akways enjoy it here.
But this is the first time it took place as a one sided ridicule in a public newspaper.
Thus the comments.

What can I say?
I need to point out that for many there is 2 eras for Apple. Post and Pre OSX.
Unlike the older versions, OSX is a solid OS, with a strong architecture.

I didn't know that. I don't read your column, nor would I have had it not been posted here. Nor did I read the first article. No offense. But, I don't usually read opinion articles. I can do that for myself.

But like I said in my previous post, I agree with your right to disagree.

To say there is no problems with the Mac is unrealistic. The EMUG is here to help people with their problems. But as far as we are concerned, viruses, trojans, and malware don't exist. As Symantec said, they have infected 0-50 computers, so at max there are 150 Macs with viruses. Most users haven't seen one. And for all I know, Symantec is trying to push its sale-less antivirus program to Mac users by doing the standard scare tactic.
Those infected Macs might only exist on Symantec and the author's computers.

Like I said, I didn't read you column. But I was referring to your post here.
And to be honest, I think it is a good analogy.
People complain about MOGs too.
Harleys have there issues, but to someone who has never tried the feeling of an open road, those beasts are a stupid investment. Others have tried them but haven't enjoyed them. My granny says hello.
For the later, you will never know.

As for the comments, go back to the beginning of this post.
In the end, the guys are just having fun, albeit at your expense.
But I guess you were expecting that. And I know you aren't really threatened by the remarks.

In fact Blue might have to go out to protect you.
If something DOES happen to you, the police will be walking in the front door shouting "Lucy, you have some essplainin too doo"

BTW, have you noticed how most serial killers are Windows users?
Statistically speaking.

True. If the that were not the case Apple would have 100% market share.
However, it is registering growth in unrealistic levels.
Vista was the best thing to happen to the Mac.

I have seen a few myself, but I those I have seen fall into 3 categories:
- Those who have a fathomed feeling to conform and comply. Professor Milgram will be proud.
- Those who are loathe change, and are set into the PC way.
- And those who are just too lazy to work the learning curve.

I guess there is nothing wrong with that.
After all, if there weren't for sheep, we wouldn't have lamb chops.

I don't know you on a personal level, and I reckon you are a nice guy.
But for some reason, the rhyme "Ba Ba Black Sheep" keeps running thru my mind.
