I've got a few requests over the last few weeks for EmiratesMac Apple User Group meetings in Abu Dhabi. Some of you may remember that the very first meeting of EMUG was in Abu Dhabi and we tried to have other meetings there but there was no interest. It always seemed to be that people in Abu Dhabi didn't mind driving to Dubai but Dubai people didn't want to go to Abu Dhabi.
Even though I am myself moving to Dubai in June, I'd be more than happy to arrange for meetings in Abu Dhabi and would try to come to as many as I can. But I'd like to ask how many of you would be interested in meetings in Abu Dhabi (members of EMUG or not) and where would you suggest we meet? We've got a very nice place to meet in Dubai at
Tashkeel, and I'm not saying we need something as nice in Abu Dhabi but just meeting at a cafe or something similar is probably not going to work for very long. We need a regular place to meet, with internet connection (wifi). Any ideas would be very welcome.
