Your best bet is to get a DVI <> HDMI converter.
so you would have the following setup:
mini DVI <> DVI - HDMI cable
Remember this will NOT carry sound.
HDMI is actually DVI with sound, but since you started with DVI you lose the sound. (I hope somebody can resolve that).
