It should work fine, AFAIK Warcraft is playable across platforms. Blizzards WarCraft III
pages don't mention anything about it not working, just that "Multiplayer games played over a LAN require an active connection to a TCP/IP network."
Unfortunately I cannot myself confirm this because I don't have the game, but hopefully someone else can spread some more light on this
