MS office replaces the Arial and Times fonts with a queer set under the same names, but works well in the MS Office applications only. Safari on the other hand by default uses Times font that is able to display Arabic, and here is the issue MS Office fonts are not Arabic compatible. |
Zaid, i managed to get safari displaying arabic normally, from Font Book.app I disabled all the Arial Fonts (wasnt sure which one i needed to disable) and disabled Times New Roman... and Horrey.... i can read arabic in Safari... i guess i still need to find a proper version of those fonts to re-install
