WWDC, It's like you have been to a Huge Techno Party out in the middle of Desert, with Laser light show and crazy looking people , but instead they were playing Jazz!
Come OOOONN!!! Althou I am not a techno guy, but I am sure the party will blow my eye balls. Steve was that DJ on the stage who was playing low. People are jumping up and down, trying to bring to his attention that we need that Hit song NOW...
He wanted to bring people expectation low. This is a planed keynote, to be negative, so people will look out for his next keynote, they want to see if he will really sucks!!
It is indirect marketing, WWDC was neg marketing, which is good. That will create more fuss on his next (MacWorld Keynote) which will bring more people in to see if he is the real Job.
